"The Menehune Mayhem is one of the contests we look forward to each year. It’s a super fun contest, it’s fun ALL day long! Everyone gets a goodie bag, there’s all kinds of fun things to do when you’re not surfing. It’s fun for the littlest keiki to the biggest keiki. But more than just surfing Uncle Ian encourages everyone to work hard in school. He rewards kids with good grades and I think that’s pretty awesome that it’s not just about surfing."

The 16th Annual Ian Walsh Menehune Mayhem will run on Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th 2019 at Ho'okipa Beach Park. The two-day format is back for a second year for double the surf and double the fun!
Kids 17 and under will be able to register for the surf contest in March 2019 with their parent/guardian online. No mailed in entries or beach entries will be accepted - this allows us to reduce the amount of single-use products before and during the event.
The Menehune Mayhem is proud to announce the fourth annual art contest in which kids 17 and under are encouraged to create and design the IWMM contest t-shirts (must follow contest guidelines). The selected artwork will be used for the following year's contest branding, posters, and IWMM overall event theme. Click here for more information.
If you are interested in participating in the IWMM and have a booth activity you'd like to lead, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
